Reimo Võsa-Tangsoo isikunäitus „[ 1 | 2 ]“ ARS projektiruum
ARS Kunstilinnak, Pärnu mnt 154, Tallinn 11.03.-30.05.2020, E-R 12-18 L 12-16 Näituse lähtepunktiks on stseen Michelangelo Antonioni filmist Blow Up, kus miimid mängivad tenniseväljakul tennist ilma reketite ja pallita. Antud stseen on minu jaoks ilus kujund meid ümbritsevale konstrueeritud tõelisusele ja kriitika meie igapäevaste tegevuste tõsidusele/tõsiseltvõetavusele. See näitus on esimene näituste seerias, milles ma keskendun reaalsuse/virtuaalsuse omavahelistele suhetele ning nende erinevatele aspektidele. Reimo Võsa-Tangsoo on kunstnik, kes elab ja töötab Tallinnas. Ta on lõpetanud Eesti Kunstiakadeemia kunstide magistriõppe. Oma töödes kasutab ta interaktiivseid elemente ning vaatajal on oluline roll kunstiteose tähenduse loomisel. Reimo töödes segunevad ikoonilised kujutised, keel, poliitika ning innovatiivsed tehnoloogiad. Viimaste projektidena võiks esile tuua „Vahetu vaevatasu“, „Test System 1.1 / Siin pole midagi vaadata“, „Nostagia / ihad“, „...Tabada tuuma ja põrgusse tagajärjed...“. The starting point of the present exhibitions is the scene from the feature film Blow Up (directed by Michelangelo Antonioni) where mimes are playing tennis on a tennis court without rackets and the ball. For me, this scene serves as a beautiful image for the constructed reality that is surrounding us as well as examines the credibility and gravity of our daily activities. Current exhibition is the first one in the series of exhibitions where I focus on the relationship between reality/virtuality and related various aspects. In his artwork, the artist uses interactive elements and the viewer plays an important part in creating the meaning of the artwork where iconic images, language, politics and innovative technologies are combined. Among his recent art projects are Immediate Gratification, Test System 1.1 / There is Nothing to See, Nostalgia / Desires, ... As Close to the Bone as I Could Get, and to Hell with the Consequences.... Reimo Võsa-Tangsoo is an artist who lives and works in Tallinn. He has obtained MA degree in the faculty of fine arts at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
