"In Itself" (“Eseeneses”) exhibition invites us to experience the presence of the world through slowness, chromatic restraint and sensory attention. Subdued tones and tactile materials open a space for quiet contemplation, allowing reality to reveal itself to the viewer.
Liis Tedre (b. 1976) graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a BA in Graphic Art in 2022. In her artistic practice, she weaves playful narratives through objects and forms that hover on the threshold between figuration and abstraction. Working primarily with graphic prints on paper, produced through various authorial techniques, Tedre places great importance on the sensitivity and touchability of materials introducing processes and substances that require direct, bodily engagement and expand the sense of tactile presence within her work.
