“Let this be for you” is a new exhibition by Julia Valtanen exploring material sensitivity, and the intertwining of painting, object, and spatial installation.

Since the artist’s studio is located in the same building as the exhibition space, the exhibition becomes a direct extension of the studio atmosphere itself – a place where experimentation and change are constantly present. Through a collage-based approach, the exhibition transforms into a space where materials and images come together in temporary constellations.

Painting serves as the point of departure from which other forms emerge. The exhibition also includes delicate spatial forms created from transparent and re_ective materials, stitched surfaces, ceramics, and suspended fragments. These elements function more as traces and membranes than as objects – forms that appear to grow or quietly transform.

The walls become active surfaces where relationships between materials and gestures are assembled, turning the exhibition itself into a large-scale spatial collage. Elements originating in the paintings migrate into the space as transparent structures, hanging forms, silver threads, ribbons, and subtle interventions that respond to light, movement, and proximity.

Rather than constructing a xed narrative, the exhibition creates a temporary material landscape shaped by a particular state of mind and a specic moment in time — a unique constellation of forms that exists only within this space and cannot be repeated in exactly the same way again.

Let This Be for You – an invitation into a sensitive space where change, vulnerability, and imagination remain alive.

The exhibition is supported by the Estonian Artists’ Association

Drinks at the opening will be provided by PUNCH!
